Our pneumatic HDO-100 is a true all-rounder in the world of tin opening machines. It is not only indispensable for food manufacturers, but also finds its place in commercial kitchens. Designed for applications where flexibility and efficiency are required, it is the ideal choice for operations working with a wide range of tin sizes. The HDO-100 is able to open cylindrical tins with capacities of 2, 3, 5, 10 and 12 kilograms. Whether vegetables, fruit, tuna or viscous products such as tomato concentrate or apple sauce, the HDO-100 effortlessly processes cylindrical tins with a wide variety of contents. It achieves an output of 100 to 250 tins per hour.

With the manual machine HDO, the tins are opened via a 2-hand operating control, emptied manually and crushed via the 2-hand operating control.

How the Pneumatic Tin Opening Machine Works

The machine is loaded manually by the operator. The lid of the tin is punched out using the 2-hand operation. Punching out the lid not only increases the opening speed, but also ensures the integrity of the tin contents. Punching ensures that no metallic residue gets into the food. Once the tin has been opened, the contents are emptied manually by the operator. The tin can then be pressed with the HDO-100. Pressing the tins significantly reduces the volume of waste, which leads to cost savings during transportation.

Tin formats

Our manual pneumatic tin opener HDO 100 stands out for its flexibility and is capable of opening cylindrical tins of various sizes and weights. It supports tins weighing 2 kg, 3 kg, and 5 kg, which typically have a diameter between 153 mm and 157 mm. Larger tins weighing 10 kg or 12 kg can also be opened, with diameters ranging from 230 mm to 233 mm. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, the HDO 100 can also process tins with heights between 115 mm and 310 mm without extensive retooling. This enables smooth and efficient operation, even with varying requirements.

Single punch head for 2+3+5 kg tins

This punching head is specially designed for the precise opening of tins with a capacity of 2, 3 and 5 kilograms. It enables effortless adjustment to different tin heights with the same diameter to best meet your needs.

Single punch head for 10+12 kg tins

For tins with a capacity of 10 and 12 kilograms, we offer a single punching head that ensures smooth opening of these tins. It enables effortless adaptation to different tin heights with the same diameter.

Double punch head for 2+3+5+10+12 kg tins

Our double punching head opens tins with a capacity of 2, 3, 5, 10 and 12 kilograms. It enables effortless adaptation to different tin heights with 2 different diameters. This makes it an ideal solution for companies with a wide range of tin formats and offers maximum flexibility and efficiency.

Integrated tin press

To minimize the space required in your production facility, you can opt for the option with an integrated tin press. Pressing the tins offers several advantages. Firstly, it saves valuable space in the production facility, as no separate storage areas are required for pressed tins. It also makes it easier to transport the pressed tins, resulting in lower logistics costs.
